Connecting your email

FreeReconcile needs access to your email to find PDF receipts and invoices. We support Gmail and Outlook.

How to connect

• Go to Settings in your FreeReconcile dashboard
• Click Connect email
• Sign in with your email provider
• Grant FreeReconcile read-only access to your inbox

We use OAuth, so we never see or store your email password. We only look at emails that have PDF attachments.

What FreeReconcile reads

• Email metadata: sender, subject, date
• PDF attachments: invoices, receipts, statements

We don't read the body of your emails. We don't modify your inbox in any way. We don't send emails on your behalf.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect your email at any time from Settings > Email connections. When you disconnect, FreeReconcile immediately loses access to your inbox.
