What data does FreeReconcile store?
We store as little as possible to provide the service.
What we store
- Your account: name, email, hashed password, subscription status
- FreeAgent tokens: encrypted OAuth tokens to access your FreeAgent account
- Matching data: extracted invoice details (merchant, amount, date, VAT), match results, and approval status
- PDF references: we keep PDFs temporarily for matching, then delete them after 7 days if not approved
What we don't store
- Your email password
- Raw email content or email bodies
- FreeAgent bank account numbers or sort codes
- Credit card or payment details (handled by our payment provider)
Deleting your data
If you delete your FreeReconcile account, we delete all your data including matching history, tokens, and any stored PDFs. This is irreversible.
You can also ask us to delete your data without deleting your account by emailing privacy@freereconcile.com.
